The Eight-Point Barrier is a technique used for containing spiritual disasters that have reached third-phase or higher, forming an octagon of light around the target that extends from the ground and then to the sky. It requires at least eight practitioners to perform, continuously chanting, but it is considered impossible to break from the inside.
This technique is normally prohibited from combat-use against other humans, but in the case of a powerful opponent such as a Divine General, exceptions can be made.
